Hosting Content - The Easy Way:
Today, I would like to talk to you about hosting content – The easy way. Uploading content to the internet can be really simple, you do not need to know to know a pile of knowledge or information just to upload your content and share it on the internet. However, you do need to know some hosting websites which can help you ‘host’ – which is helping you put your content on it’s servers so you can allow the file to be shared globally with everyone on the internet.
Anyway, here are some of my interesting sites which I have in mind and I think it is a fantastic idea to share with you.
One of the most commonly used file sharing services is Mediafire. It’s simplicity and virtually no download limits and waiting time makes it appealing for all.
Another competitor in the ring which is climbing up slowly in the file sharing industry is Filesonic.
4Shared has already been in this business for quite some time and they are still being used by many. However, they have some limitations, such as if the account is inactive for a few months, they will remove your files and deactivate your account.
If your content is meant for everyone and anyone, why not use ReUpload.it, it will upload your content to every content and hosting provider it could find and give you all the links so your files would have the highest uptime possible.
And of course, if your content is quite specific, like a video you should use YouTube, as it offers the best buffer speed and currently, you could upload up to 10 hours worth of video to their site!
Hope that this helps you put your content on the internet; there’s no reason on forgetting your thumb-drives!
Jeremy.

Food Businesses that use Social Media for further promotion:
For the past few years, food businesses have been popping out and more food outlets and chains want to look unique in their own individual way. Some tried to give out flyers, a method in traditional media which no longer might work with the newer generations.
However, more and more well established outlets have been trying to use Social Media in their marketing efforts to promote their businesses and to make a more viable platform for people to business communications. Thus, increasing patronage in the long run.
A quick example would be the newly established commercially known “ Pepper Lunch Express “ which makes its debut yesterday at MUNCH in our very own Ngee Ann Polytechnic
The non-intrusive promotional icon for it’s Social Media network for Pepper Lunch Singapore can be found in every menu at the store.
The rise of Social Media is very strong and this is just the start of it’s rise to overtake most or almost all communications in the future.
We hope you find this post on Take IT Higher exciting, if you have any questions, feel free to send us a Twitter or Facebook message.

In information technology, gap analysis is an assessment tool to help identify differences between information systems or applications. A gap is sometimes called "the space between where we are and where we want to be."
A gap analysis helps bridge that space by highlighting which requirements are being met and which are not. The tool provides a foundation for measuring the investment of time, money and human resources that's required to achieve a particular outcome.
In software development, for instance, a gap analysis can be used to document which services and/or functions have been accidentally left out, which ones have been deliberately eliminated and which still need to be developed. In compliance, a gap analysis can be used to compare what is required by law to what is currently being done.
